Before you know what has happened, you and your team have opened fire with your M-16s. While you continue to fire, you watch as your squad leader takes the other team behind a small rise in the land.

Dr. Richard Felton and Dr. Archie Dickey were recently named full deans of the college of engineering and the college of arts and sciences, respectively, and that begs the question of what really is the difference between interim deans and full deans. There are no differences between interim and full dean; the interim title was merely to convey that Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University was considering a structure change.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Arnold Air Society, Steven M. Scherp Squadron, is rounding up its Candidate Training Program this fall with much enthusiasm. The candidate's have been through many grueling trainings which have tested them both mentally and physically.
On Nov. 9, people in ERAU's Prescott campus Activity Center showed their appreciation for military veterans by gathering, crying, and cheering. Veterans' Appreciation Night brought out people from ERAU, Prescott Valley, and Phoenix. This night was made possible by the Air Force ROTC and the Army ROTC detachments at ERAU.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Alumni and Standards Instructor Pilot Benjamin Kiteley has been named Acting Director of Aviation Safety and Security of the Flight Department following previous director Juergen Tank's retirement. Currently, Kiteley oversees the flight and maintenance operations at the flight department at the Prescott Municipal Airport.
On Saturday evening, Nov. 14, 2,200 miles apart in San Diego, CA, and Jacksonville, FL, the Golden Eagles and Eagles flight teams representing Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, dominated their respective regional competitions, winning in flight, ground, and overall team categories in regional Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference, SAFECON, competitions held by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association, NIFA.
You may be wondering what RHA and IACURH are. First off, RHA stands for Residence Hall Association. The basic mission of the RHA at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is to make policies and govern the residence halls on campus, as well as to host social and educational events for students, and have weekly meetings to discuss any issues that may arise.
Canadian musical phenomenon Leahy brings their high-energy, genre-spanning music with a special Celtic Christmas flavor to the Yavapai College Performance Hall on Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. The show is presented by Yavapai College Community Events, and is co-sponsored by CableOne, Yavapai Gaming Agency, KNAU Arizona Public Radio, and the Performing Arts Charitable Endowment, PACE.

Once again, we find ourselves already at the end of another semester. Everyone on campus looks forward to that big restful break once finals are over, but something for you all to keep in mind is that the flightline is still open all through finals and all the way to Christmas.
As the academic year reaches its midway point, have you found all the technology used to support your learning and collaboration? Because more people today have grown up with technology, it is safe to say that most prospective college students would consider themselves shrewd.
